A family business is created and grows
The Schongiland AG site was not always an amusement park. In December 1961, Seppi Müller opened his own company, a car and tire store, which became very well known. However, Seppi Müller's childhood dream was to have his own amusement park. For this reason, he opened Schongiland AG with his wife and their four children in 1991 without making a big fuss. This project started with a toboggan run, which was financed by the manufacturer. As is still the case today, the entrance to the toboggan run was located in the building of the old mill. This was purchased in 1968 and carefully renovated. With these renovations and investments, the ground was broken for Schongiland as it is today. Since 1991, Schongiland AG has grown from year to year. Thomas Müller, Seppi Müller's son, now runs Schongiland and is actively supported by his wife and daughter and more than 30 employees.

2016 For the 25th anniversary, there was another new ride, the so-called "Butterfly", which has been very popular with young and old since the beginning and gives a wonderful tingling sensation in the stomach.
